CNC Workshop

Category: 2016 , Workshops

Have you ever seen a laser cutting machine?
Have you ever wondered how it’s controlled to cut the designs out exactly as you see them on the computer screen?
The answer to that question is simple: CNC Milling

IEEE AlexSB is pleased to announce that it’s holding a workshop about CNC Milling.

CNC milling is a specific form of computer numerical controlled (CNC) machining. Milling itself is a machining process similar to both drilling and cutting, and able to achieve many of the operations performed by cutting and drilling machines. Like drilling, milling uses a rotating cylindrical cutting tool.
So, if you’re a mechanical or production engineering student, or generally interested in the CNC milling technique and implementation, hurry up and fill the application form to reserve your seat.
