Detectors for LHC at CERN.

Category: 2015 , NPSS Events

Believing in the importance of detectors, we have to be updated with its new technology. CERN uses the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments to study the basic constituents of matter, i.e.; the fundamental particles.

The particles are made to collide together at a speed close to the speed of light.
In our seminar Prof. Albert De Roeck spoke about the detectors at CERN and the instruments that record the results of the proton beam collision.
