Development of a high average current electron injector for an Energy Recovery Linear Accelerator.

Category: 2015 , NPSS Events

In order to be updated with the advancement of technology, this lecture was presenting an overview of ERL FEL systems, and discussing some of the basic principles of acceleration and thermionic electron gun design.

Our event which was presented by Prof. Steven H. Gold speaking about (FELs) free electron laser which requires the production of high energy electron beams with high quality and high average current. He also spoke about increasing the efficiency by (ERL) energy recovery linac, and the properties of the high energy electron beam that is produced by the linac and the systems use injectors.
