Hoping to help the students in nuclear and radiation engineering department in Alexandria University, we organized this online series of seven sessions. These sessions aimed mainly towards teaching the undergraduate students the key parameters that are crucial to enable them doing some rough nuclear reactors criticality calculations and analysis.
These series of online sessions serve this exact objective by:
– Reviewing the key concepts that are needed to understand the topic of nuclear interactions.
– Giving new key parameters needed in utilizing these interactions into specifically designed systems.
– Covering the “Governing Equation” that governs the behavior of neutrons in these reactors.
– Forming and solving this governing equation to find the optimum conditions needed to design safely operated Nuclear reactors.
